In a desperate need to take a break from his ordinary life, a factory worker Douglas Quaid visits Rekall, a company which has a technology of implanting fake memories into the minds of their clients, so that they get satisfaction of the life that they would loved to have led. He goes through the procedure to get adventurous memories of a super spy's life implanted in his mind. In a twist of fate, the procedure goes horribly wrong, throwing Douglas in the middle of a life-threatening situation, forcing him to join a rebel fighter to find the head of an underground force and stop a vicious leader of the free world.
